Smart Bloggers Use PLR

I’m happy to report that I’ve published my new Kindle book, Smart Bloggers Use PLR.

If you haven’t guessed, it’s about PLR — what it is, who should use it (hint: you!), when and where to use it, and how to take pre-written content and make it your own.

Here’s the link:  PLRLaunchCentral.com/Smart-Bloggers.

I worked really hard on that last category — making pre-written content your own.  It’s key to strategic use of PLR for many, many reasons.  Here are just a few.

How Smart Bloggers Use PLR

First, you want all your content to fit seamlessly into your business plan and to speak directly to your target audience.  Maybe you’ll find excellent PLR that will fit the bill perfectly.  But chances are that you’ll have to tweak your pre-written content at least sometimes to get it to suit your business purposes and to carry your message to your target audience.

You’ll at least want to edit your PLR to include your keywords.  You may want to edit it to make it fit your slant.  Suppose, for example, that you have a diabetes blog and purchase a PLR pack on healthy eating.  You’ll want to provide some edits to the healthy eating content to establish it as being distinctly for diabetics.

Second, you may have a clear voice, a defined attitude, or a firm opinion on the topics that you write about.  Not everyone does but many people do.  You may find PLR content that conveys the information you want to convey but doesn’t express your own personality.  So punch it up to make it sound like you.

Third, you may have a particular story to tell.  Maybe you’ve learned a lesson in the school of hard knocks.  If that’s the case, add some content to your PLR material that tells your story.

I hope you read my Kindle book.  You can get it even if you don’t have a Kindle e-reader, you know.  Download the Kindle app and you can read it on any device.  Just click on the link below and you’ll see an image of the cover of my book on the left side of the screen.  Below that is a box that says, “Read on any device.”  You can download the app there.

Once you’ve read it, please leave a comment on Amazon.  If you like it, your comment will recommend it to other readers.  And if you find fault with it, your constructive criticism will help me improve the book.
